San Francisco for Democracy will hold a General Meeting on June 30th, 2010 between the hours of 7 - 9 PM at the Northern Police Station Community Room located at 1125 Fillmore St. at Turk St.

The election of SF4D officers for the next one year term. Any member in good standing interested in running for an office should contact a current board member.
A vote on the early endorsement of U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer, State Senator Leland Yee and Assemblyman Tom Ammiano. A presentation by any candidates or their representatives vying for those offices will be welcomed. State Senator Leland Yee will present. A representative for Tom Ammiano will also present. Peace and Freedom Party US Senate candidate, Marsha Feinland, will make an appearance as well.
A membership vote on the Recommendation by the Steering Committee to support Unite Here! Local 2 in their struggle with seven SF hotels that have used intimidating tactics to limit organizing and their refusal to negotiate fair new contracts for union members. A Unite Here! representative will present.
An update on Clean Money issues including the June 8th election, the recent Supreme Court ruling and the status of campaign finance reform in Congress by Joni Eisen.
